Hermes, Messenger of the Gods, and Apollo sit in Apollo’s car, waiting at the mall for Persephone and Artemis. Apollo explains that his sister is stressed out after losing track of her new roommate at the party. Hermes asks who the new roommate is, and Apollo replies that she’s “some flower goddess,” new to Olympus. Hermes reveals that he knows Persephone through his work delivering letters. A flashback shows him delivering a letter to a very naked Persephone in the Mortal Realm
“Haha! I heard you survived a brush with Hades. Amazing!”
Hermes
Persephone and Artemis approach the car, shopping bags in hand. Apollo sees Persephone in the rearview mirror and chastises Hermes for not telling him how hot she is. He gets out and leans against the car trying to look cool, but Hermes one-ups him by sliding across the hood and running towards Persephone. They greet each other in a huge hug, and Persephone asks Hermes for his number now that she has a phone. Apollo interrupts their reunion, and Artemis introduces him.
Once the four of them are in the car, Artemis asks Persephone what the Underworld was like. Persephone says it’s beautiful. Apollo interrupts her, saying Hades was only being nice to try to get her to sleep with him. Persephone denies this and insists that they’re friends. Hermes tells Apollo to drop it, and says that Persephone is just a kid. She feels indignant that they speak about her like she’s not there.
When they stop at a grocery store, Persephone grabs a large blue bag of rice. Apollo offers to help her carry it but she ignores him, which makes him angry.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
