After some disagreement, Zeus and Persephone decide to go to Hades office in Tower 1 to search for him. They see Hecate walking, her vision obscured, in a very strange form and choose not to interact with her out of fear she, too, is under Kronos’ spell.
On their way over, Zeus shares the story of how a few years ago he tried to restart negotiations with Hades by offering him a bride - Leuce. Hades refused the match and insisted no one could replace Persephone. They discuss his concerns - that she would marry him and grow tired of him eventually - while Persephone insisted she loves him and their connection goes deeper than he realizes. She is determined to help him in this situation because he helped her so many times. Zeus admits he hasn’t seen Demeter in a long time.
During their walk, a strange new character - blue skin with wings near their ears - follows them from a distance. They make themselves known, much to Zeus and Persephone’s surprise.
“I tried my best to appease him, but it only pushed him further away. The bridal offer was the true disaster though.”
