2021 marks the second year for the fandom’s Octoblore art/cosplay/fanfic challenge! Read on for the experience of ten artists who took part this year - the highs, the lows, and the lessons learned.

Proud mother of a psychopath kitten who turned her life upside down., ZuzuOart lives in Poland but plans to move to London soon. She’s a huge fan of webtoons, anime/manga, comics, fantasy movies and books and pokemon trying out DND and some games and always listening to music.
“Keep drawing and practice every day and study/observe as many references of subjects you want to get better with (it could be characters, backgrounds, people, hands, color, perspective, anything) and most of all, always have fun in what you do!“

Planningwithsacentity is a 23 years old civil engineer from Spain who is currently studying a major degree. When not studying she loves to watch comedy series/movie, doing crazy makeup to go nowhere, and pretending that she’s good at writing stories and drawing (she is!).

Mari is an independent fan-artist living near a woodland area in Portland. When she isn’t drawing, she cooks, walks in the park, chats with online friends, and plays video games.
Cosmic is a college student from Texas. When not tormenting her OCs, she rewatches Bojack Horseman or Tuca and Bertie for the 1058th time.

Leonora is a truly unique artist and cosplayer from Denmark, creating things that make her happy and sometimes sharing with the internet. Most of her account highlights the works she does on the tiniest canvas - a single eyelid.

Holden is an adult who lives in the Yee Haw United States who has a full time job in a pharmacy and spends a considerable amount of time thinking about a blue man and a pink woman.

When artist Dez (aka @peachydezy) isn't reading (or drawing) Lore Olympus, she works for Reading Partners as a Literacy Lead, helping elementary students who are behind in reading. Read more about this talented artist in our interview!
Dood is a Romanian artist publishing her first comic, Knights of Lion, on Webtoon. Lore Olympus is one of the sources of her strength and inspiration in following her passion for comics.

Cora is an aspiring archaeologist who loves art, music, and enjoying nature with her service dog and pet rabbit.
