Episode 45: Crushed

Hades has made it to his house and collapses on the floor. He tells Big John “Daddy’s had a stressful day.” Hades blames Cerberus and “dog grounds” him.
Hades reflects that before he knew Persephone, he was doing ok; he wasn’t good but he wasn’t so confused. He struggles to control his feelings, despite his power and status, and tries to reason with himself. He recognizes that he has more feelings than he’s used to and doesn’t know how to process them. He begins to see that it’s refreshing that she doesn’t treat him with distaste like the rest of the population and that he might not have understood himself so well now that she’s shown a light on his emotions.
“She’s not that great. She just makes me feel all warm and snuggly inside when I think about her. Do I even like feeling warm and snuggly? Who does she think she is making me feel warm and snuggly!?”
Hades
Hades tries to get control of his crush and looks for information about Persephone online. Not finding anything, he reviews her transcript and sees that she has a scholarship from TGOEM. He is embarrassed that he would ask someone who is on the path to be a sacred virgin if she was a fertility goddess. He fears he misread the situation.
There is a knock on the door, and Minthe is outside in the rain, crying.
