“I’m getting the impression that you didn’t have such a terrible time with the King of the Underworld.”
Eros
Eros still crying, having just relayed the story of what happened with Psyche. Persephone comforts him, telling him he’s lucky to have found someone who loves him. She then explains that she’s destined to her life in service of others, and will never get to experience a romantic relationship.
Eros apologizes for his actions at the Panathanea, which Persephone quickly forgives. She gives Eros her phone to add his contact information, and he sees that she’s already added Hades’ number as well.
(Meanwhile, Hades receives her text but, not recognizing the number, ignores it.)
Eros recognizes Hades’ number and presses her for details about her time with Hades. Eros fawns over the coat he gave her. When she admits she’s never been shopping, Eros takes her shopping, with Artemis tagging along. He picks out and pays for everything.
Persephone secretly worries that Hades hasn't responded to her text, and Eros finds her hiding in the menswear section. Persephone admits that Hades made her feel important. They’re interrupted by Artemis, who approaches and says that her brother is waiting to give her and Persephone a ride home, and will be coming over for dinner. Outside, Apollo waits for them in the parking lot.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
