Episode 74: I Think It Suits You
Editor: Annie LaHue
Released: 1 September 2019
Minthe wakes up in Thetis’ room, clearly hungover. She panics and swears, seeing all the texts from Hades that she missed the night before. Thetis clearly doesn’t care that Minthe missed her date. She tries to call Hades, but he puts her on voicemail. This pisses Minthe off.
“I’m just… really, really talented at insomnia.”
Hades
On the other hand, Hades is walking on his way to the Fates’ office. Persephone gives him a call and he scrambles trying to answer, dropping his coffee in the process.
Persephone asks him about texting her at around 4 am, and Hades panics, he didn’t consider the time he messaged her. He becomes insecure, thinking that she was probably calling to tell him she doesn’t want to come anymore, or that Zeus must’ve paid Persephone to spend time with him. To his surprise, Persephone asks him if he is okay. They both share how they have trouble with insomnia. Hades asks if Persephone has a class that day, and Persephone replies that she managed to score a three-day weekend. She tells him it would suit him.
Persephone says goodbye, and Hades thinks he didn’t wish she would go. As Persephone makes it back to Artemis’ house, she decides she needs to plan her exit strategy from TGOEM.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
