Editor: Annie LaHue
Released: 18 August 2019
Hades eats the baklava Persephone gave him and finds that it is perfectly delicious, half-heartedly annoyed at Hermes for eating some of his share. He then reads the letter Persephone has sent to Hecate. He gets flustered upon finding out that he and Persephone have met before, but he doesn’t remember.
Dear Hecate, How is everything? I’m sorry you had to cut your visit with us short. I miss your company very much. I’m so sorry mother was mad about your surprise guest. She just doesn’t want men on the property because of me. I hope the King of the Underworld didn’t have too nasty of a hangover. Love, Kore
He calls Hecate in the middle of the night. While working on a large tapestry she’s sewing, she tells him that when she stayed with Demeter last year for a couple months, he came to visit one night, very drunk. She and Demeter took him back to the Underworld the same night, but based on the letter, Persephone must have seen him too.
In the flashback, Persephone is seen sneaking in on a sleeping Hades, leaving a trail of pink butterflies in her wake. Hades smiles and sings as Hecate and Demeter carry him back. As Hecate ends the phone call, Hades wonders what else is Persephone hiding.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
