Eros and Persephone sit on the roof drinking tea at night. Eros is shocked to hear “that river nymph” is the one Hades is dating, calling them “the ultimate on again off again dumpster fire.” He tells of how they made a spectacle at Hebe’s seventh birthday party because of Minthe’s short dress. He calls her a brat. She calls him an asshole. Hera is angry at Zeus because she didn’t want Minthe invited at all.

When she still feels stupid for thinking Hades liked her, Eros reveals that he and his mother played the prank on her at the party because Hades truly did say she “put Aphrodite to shame.” He mentions that the last time they talked/touched, Persephone was a virgin, but he can tell in touching her now that she isn’t.
