Persephone points out that they don’t even know each other, but Artemis shrugs. Hestia says she's proud of Artemis for showing initiative. Artemis is uncomfortable with the hug and back-handed compliment. The room goes dark purple as Demeter says she hasn’t decided anything and while she respects Artemis, she doesn’t know how to take care of a child.

Artemis asks what her problem is and says, “Newsflash! She’s not a child.” Learning Kore is 19, Artemis leans over and asks if she wants to live with her. Kore responds with hearts in her eyes, “Yes, please,” but is cut off by her mother who leads them away, thanking Hestia for having them and slamming the door.

A crown of white flowers with yellow center blooms on Artemis’ head. Athena says her first words, “I think she likes you.”

Some time after the meeting, Artemis plays with her “babies” (knives). Hermes flies to the window in just shorts and black sneakers and shows her letter from Kore. He claims he doesn’t know how he lost his shirt.

“Dear Artemis, I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to ask if you would still be willing to let me live with you. I have my mother’s approval. Sincerely yours, Persephone.”

Hermes is sweating when Artemis asks about the name change (Bringer of Death). He tries to brush it off and replies, “The mortals are always renaming us.”

“Kore can come live with me in Olympus, if she wants to.”

It is revealed that Demeter has asked Hermes to do a cover-up about something that Persephone did. She writes a check and hands it over, a powerful green light shining between them. Back to Artemis and Hermes's conversation, he simply shrugs and says, “I dunno. I think she just realized Kore is getting too old to control.”

Persephone is seen a red vine crown and eight glowing white butterflies kneeling on a blue, ashy floor in a dark room. A door is open with light streaming in from above.
