Episode 67: Siblings
Editor: Annie LaHue
Released: 17 July 2019
Persephone wakes up, having slept in at Eros and Aphrodite’s. She mentions she hasn’t slept all night in awhile. She receives texts from Artemis, who tells her that Poseidon doesn’t have a car and that she adopted a wolf. She deletes a text from Apollo.
She is surprised to see a text from Hades, sent at 4am, telling her the baklava was good and that he regrets sharing his portion with Hermes.
She laughs, vindicated, before noticing the message was sent at 4am. They have a brief flirty exchange of texts before Storge bursts in with his hamster, inquiring if she was Eros’ girlfriend. Startled, Persephone immediately says she is not flirting with her boss. (Even though she is)
Eros leans in the doorway wearing a “Kiss the Cook” apron with baby Mania strapped to his chest and tells them to come eat breakfast. He introduces his seven siblings and refers to them as “little monsters.”
Eros and a surly Agape counsel Persephone on the intricacies of social media. Eros opens a Fatesbook account for her and adds Hera as a friend. Just then, Aphrodite arrives and loudly declares she’s home, sending Persephone in a panic.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
