Minthe confronts Hades, saying that now she sees why he ignored her all weekend. Hecate, sensing a fight come on, decides that this is none of her business and poofs away. Hades tries to mollify Minthe by calling her by her nickname, Tadpole, but she isn’t having it. She asks if he enjoyed impressing Persephone, and implies that they must have slept together.
She falls on him, knocking him prone onto the ground. She is angry that he would not give her that coat because it was meant for Hera, but he was happy to give it to a random ditzy flower nymph. Hades asks her if she is jealous, since he thought she didn’t get jealous. He tells her that nothing happened, and that Persephone is a goddess that is the daughter of an old friend. He then asks her why she didn’t come to the party.
“She probably does unspeakable things with the unseen one.”

In Olympus, Persephone is in class, and has completed her pop quiz. The two students behind her are wondering if she was the one in the tabloid. One says that they should just ask, but his partner is afraid to because he thinks she has a sexual relationship with Hades. Fed up, the first one finally shows Persephone the article on his computer and asks if that is her. She looks at the photo, and admits that it is a photo of her and a friend, but the statements made aren’t true, though she does think they mean “sleep to the top” literally. Her classmate corrects her that the phrase means she had sex with him. She is embarrassed, and closes and hands back the laptop, just in time for the professor to hand back their quizzes.
The professor complements Persephone on her perfect score, saying he would expect nothing less from a goddess. Her classmates are awed and impressed to hear she is a goddess, which their professor points out they probably would have realized if they weren’t so dense, implying they did not do well on the quiz. Persephone offers to help them study, and she appears to be making friends.
As Persephone leaves class, she is relieved that her first day wasn’t so bad, but she does have to figure out what she’ll do about the article since Hestia will definitely have some words about it. As she is deep in thought, Apollo sneaks up on her and grabs her shoulder. He decided to surprise her and pick her up from class.
The Dread Queen has arrived, and Kronos is not prepared.
