Background
Artemis is a moon goddess and an Olympian goddess of the hunt. She is depicted as being somewhat dense and uncouth attitude, which Hera does not appreciate. She is very competitive to the point of being easily distracted. Although Artemis has a fiercely independent nature, she also has a strong sense of duty towards TGOEM and criticizes Persephone when she perceives her not taking the oath seriously.
She loves animals and has a cat Retsina that she talks to. Artemis also adopts a wolf from Poseidon’s realm.
Appearance
Artemis is athletic and usually wears sports clothing or athleisure. She is a dark purple color with dark eyes and purple/black hair. Her mortal garb is a huntress outfit with an armor chest plate.
Family
Artemis is the twin sister of Apollo. In Mythology, their parents are Zeus and Leto. In Lore Olympus, it’s revealed that Leto is her mother.
Artemis seems to have a complicated relationship with her brother. She idealizes Apollo a great deal and mentions that he is “a man of many talents.” She is loyal towards her brother to a fault, and this makes Artemis unaware of Apollo’s transgressions.

Artemis defended Persephone against her mother and directly asked her if she wanted to move to Olympus. She tries her best to look out for Persephone’s best interests, and is distrustful of Hades, and is not pleased with how much Persephone has been spending time with him. She wanted to give Persephone as much freedom as possible but has realized that she wasn’t there for Persephone when she needed her.
ATHENA
As members of TGOEM, Athena and Artemis are also quite friendly. Athena quietly encouraged Artemis to interfere on Kore’s behalf.
HESTIA
Hestia expressed her delight when Artemis offered for Persephone to stay with her in Olympus.
HERMES
Artemis and Hermes appear to get along with each other well and are quite friendly.

Trivia & Commentary

Artemis has a cat named Retsina, which is a type of Greek wine. She also likes to adopt wolves.
Artemis is uncomfortable with Hades because of his brothers’ reputations in Olympus. He is also the complete opposite of everything that she represents. Her body literally burns in his presence.
Eros stated that Artemis claiming she “never had feelings for anyone” is the “biggest load of fib” he’s ever heard. This could imply Orion, who in some myths was considered Artemis’ only romantic interest. In other myths, he’s merely a hunting companion as Artemis often surrounds herself with nymphs and huntresses.
