Persephone cries in her bedroom and puts away her shopping bags. Leto has told her about Hades and Hera’s past. Her insecurities overwhelm her, thinking she can’t possibly compare to the Queen of the Gods.
Hades sees sunlight coming in from the window and realizes Leto is in the pool house with Persephone. He tells her that no Sun gods are allowed in his realm, and Leto vanishes.
He checks up on Persephone and asks her if she’s okay. Persephone casually says she hasn’t told her that much, and that she’s tired. Hades feels something is off.
Hades drives Persephone and Pomelia to therapy the next day. Persephone briefly mentions her horrible experience with doctors, thinking about her time at the family clinic. Hades asks which doctor. Persephone says it’s private.
Things are awkward between them and Persephone finger-guns Hades goodbye. She regrets it immediately.
Persephone meets Chiron, the therapist. She tells her that she used to be a physician in the Old World, but eventually became more interested in the medicine for the mind.
