Laurel Leaves
Daphne conjures laurel leaves around Thanatos’ head. In Mythology, she gets turned into a laurel tree.
Daphne’s Comment on Apollo’s Post
A comment under Apollo’s Fatesbook post appears to be from Daphne. In Mythology, Daphne is a nymph who ran way from Apollo and was turned into a laurel tree.
Thetis’ Tape
When Hades goes to visit the Fates, they are seen working on a tape, which is later revealed to be Thetis’. In mythology, Clotho is the sister who weaves the fates of mortals. Atropos is the one who determines the end of each thread. In the episode, Atropos and Clotho are seen finishing Thetis’ tape, indicating that the Fates have sealed her future.
“Crying is for wives”
Thetis tells Minthe to not go crying to Hades, as “crying is for wives.” Later, an image shows Persephone with her arm around Hades’, shedding a tear.
Film: Carrie
Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, and Persephone are watching a Lore Olympus-version of the film Carrie. This foreshadows Persephone’s Act of Wrath.
