Background
Hephaestus first appears at the end of Episode 141, the recipient of a call from Hera.
He is Hera’s second son, younger brother to Ares and older brother to Hebe. His relationship to Athena and Zeus is unclear. He appears to have a distant relationship with family, but not terrible as he helps Hera easily and calls her “mom.”
He hasn't been home in at least 8 years (Hebe's estimated age), and currently works at Underworld Corp in a solitary but large technical workspace with dozens of computer screens and coffee cups. His friendly companion is an artificial intelligence entity called “Aetna.”
His personality seems shy, gentle, and helpful. He has no trouble or concern with helping deal with the blackmail photos Apollo is using against Persephone and even apologizes to Aetna for having to see the unpleasant images.
Appearance
Hephaestus has copper-collered skin tone, a shaved head, wears glasses, and is very tall. He has running blade prosthetic legs and a robotic prosthetic left arm that is connected to the computers in his lab and his AI.
