Nymphs

Nymphs are everywhere in the world of Lore Olympus. They are minor nature deities that preside over natural phenomena, such as springs, clouds, trees, and meadows. There are different kinds and classes of nymphs.

Types of Nymphs

Flower Nymphs

In Lore Olympus, the Anthousai or flower nymphs are considered very beautiful and desirable. They appear to be predominantly pink with some shades of blue.

Nereids

The Nereids are the fifty sea-nymph daughters of Nereus. In Lore Olympus, Thetis is a Nereid, and it is suggested that sea nymphs are seen as very exotic and beautiful.

Dryads

Dryads are the nymphs of trees, forests, groves, and woodlands. In Lore Olympus, we see many of them working with Demeter in her fields.

Naiads, lampades, etc.

The nymphs of the Underworld are associated with the rivers that flow through the realm. Minthe is an Underworld river nymph, an offspring of the river Cocytus. It is suggested in Lore Olympus that Underworld nymphs are of lower class than other types of nymphs.
