How long have you been doing cosplay?

I started cosplay in 2016! What got me interested in it was actually our motto week at school for which we were required to dress up as a childhood hero for one day and I chose Juvia Lockser.

(from Wikipedia) Juvia Lockser is a supporting protagonist in the anime/manga series Fairy Tail. She is a member of the Fairy Tail guild and a former member of Phantom Lord, where she was a member of the Element 4.

Who is your favorite Lore Olympus character to cosplay?

Queen Persephone! She's just so much fun.

What is the most memorable cosplay?

I think this would be Lady Three. She's been a dream cosplay for a while. When I got the chance to buy her from another cosplayer, it felt like it was my birthday and Christmas at once! 

Tell us your Lore Olympus story.

I got into Lore Olympus because of the 6 Cosplays Challenge. A friend asked me to do any LO character for this and since I only owned white bodypaint at that time, I went for Thetis. Afterwards I started reading the webtoon and I instantly fell in love.

I've always been interested in Greek mythology, and Rachel's take on the story touched my heart.

What other fandoms are you in? What’s special about the Lore Olympus fandom?

My other main fandoms right now are DrakenNier, Seven Deadly Sins, BNHA & Fate. The Lore Olympus fandom is special because of the incredible amount of creativity and the positivity that all fans have in common.

I have yet to meet a Lore Olympus fan that isn't friendly and welcoming towards other fans.

If you could body snatch one LO character for a day, who would it be?

Hmmm probably Nyx, just for fun.

What does cosplay mean to you?

I’ve had many different creative hobbies over the years (drawing, painting, singing, playing the guitar… I even had a band), but cosplay allows me to express myself the most. It is a creative outlet to me.

Any advice for a new cosplayer out there?

Just do it! Don't search for excuses to procrastinate and have fun.
