After going for a run, Hades is in his office, he notices a note on his computer reminding him of his dinner with Minthe from the week before. Hades comments that he wishes that things could slow down. Whilst changing out of his running clothes and into his work clothes, Hades is interrupted by Hecate who reminds him that it is the 3rd Monday of the month; a day set aside for employees of Underworld Corp to bring any issue they may have to the King of the Underworld. Startled, Hades asks if it’s too late to cancel as he looks at the long line of employees queuing.

Whilst in class, Persephone overhears her classmates talking about her behind her back. Tori makes a comment about the meaning of her name. Persephone confronts Tori saying that he doesn’t know if any of it is true, and that it must be a misunderstanding. Her hair is shown to be growing out under the stress. Tori retorts that the concubine of Hades would respond in such a way. Persephone screams that they are just friends, and grunts in distress. Persephone, her hair considerably longer than it was at the start, heads to the toilets and begins to text hades, but she doesn't have enough credits to send it. She resolves to make things right as soon as possible.

Persephone is seen flying across the Underworld cityscape. When she arrives at Underworld Corp to speak with Hades she is confronted by a queue of employees waiting to speak with him. She tries to skip ahead, but is called out for queue skipping and told to go to the back of the queue, and is ridiculed when she tries to talk her way to the front. Embarrassed and increasingly annoyed Persephone makes her way to the back of the queue, but walks into another employee who spills her coffee all over her. The employee chides her in front of everyone in the queue and Persephone apologies.

Now at the back of the queue, a visibly upset Persephone tells herself not to cry. Someone comes up behind her whistling comments on the length of the queue, and presses her to consider cutting the line. Persephone replies that she cannot cut the line. The person behind her states that they can’t believe she let someone talk to her like that. They go on to say that she’s not crying because they were mean but because she allowed it to happen. Red vines begin to grow across the top of her head as she’s getting increasingly angry. Annoyed, she turns to face the stranger only to find to her surprise that it’s Ares.
