A pink greenhouse is bathed in moonlight. The moon is then blocked by a shadowy figure. Persephone is diligently working inside the greenhouse. She senses a shadowy figure and says that it is rude to spy. A red face emerges and asks Persephone if it can come in. Persephone says it cannot, but it may continue to watch. The face asks about Persephone about the life others had planned for her, to which she retorts that it must have plans for her as well. The red eyes ask why she pretends to be okay with such a meek life.

Persephone insists it knows nothing of her. The greenhouse darkens, and the face tells her that it can smell her ambitions as they rot at her feet. With this, Persephone suddenly awakes. We see that she had fallen asleep in her desk chair, and she wonders what this dream was about.

“Ugh, I feel so nervous. It’s fine, it’s only Hades.”

Persephone

Persephone nervously gets ready for the day, and she ponders if she should tell Hades she is coming. However, she does not want to turn her phone back on since she does not want to deal with any messages from Apollo regarding yesterday. It turns out she didn’t need to worry about messages, as she goes downstairs to find Apollo in her kitchen. She asks him why he is here, to which he replies that he is just eating breakfast. She retorts that he has food at his own house. Apollo ignores her and says that he wanted to talk to her about yesterday. Persephone walks past him saying that she does not have time to talk to him, but he grabs her to prevent her from walking off. At this point, Artemis walks in and asks if they are alright. This causes Apollo to let Persephone go, allowing her to walk away.

Artemis is delighted to see how cute Persephone looks in her outfit, though she isn’t entirely comfortable with her working in the Underworld. Apollo is upset to hear that Persephone has an internship with Hades, and insists that it is inappropriate. Artemis admits it’s unusual, but it is Hera’s direct orders, and Apollo pushes that she should have dressed more conservatively.

Artemis condescendingly asks if he has a crush on her roommate before covering his mouth and reminding him that Persephone is unavailable. Persephone lets them know she is going to leave, and Apollo offers her a ride, which she quickly declines, insisting that she just prefers to walk. As she leaves the house, Persephone collects herself and reminds herself not to let Apollo rattle her.

Persephone makes it to the train station, and prepares to get on a very crowded train car, when she is pulled back by a man who is late for a meeting. He shoves her out of the way, calling her “princess,” and the doors close. Through the window, Persephone sees he has wings, and yells at him for being lazy. He just smiles and waves at her as the train pulls out of the station.
