Daphne shares her disappointment about Apollo with Thanatos freely, mentioning the attention was good for her social media even though she recognized how it changed the way she thought about herself. Thanatos encourages her. The conversation turns to Persephone, and he calls her an “airhead hick from the Mortal Realm who went postal.”

“I don’t think it’s pathetic to like someone in earnest. We can’t help but try to please the beings we want.”

When Daphne doesn’t bite, he further decries how she gets special treatment from Hades.

Daphne is unimpressed with this reasoning, saying “what I’m having a hard time understanding is why you care so much.” She then gives him her phone number and tells him to call her when he gets his “shit together.”

“Give me a call when you get your shit together.”

In the Underworld, Hades returns to his office at the end of the workday, where it appears Persephone has been working all day. He gives her a phone he claims is a “factory second” which she doesn’t need to pay him back for. She thanks him for the garbage.

Also in the Underworld, Hera and Echo stand in front of the motel Persephone fled from. Hera is shocked at what a “hovel” it is. They enter the front door and confront the desk clerk.
